A video has come to light in which men were seen attacking a person with a rod in Bengaluru. As the incident went viral, police arrested five accused from east Bengaluru.
The men are being charged with attempted murder. Police traced the victim and arrested the accused.
The victim is identified as Suresh, who works as an auditor at a milk product company in Bengaluru. Two of the five accused, identified as Umashankar and Vinesh, are Suresh's colleagues.
Bengaluru police said in a statement, "The five suspects have been arrested by police from east Bengaluru. The victim and two of the accused seemed to have been working in the same firm, and the assault was due to a difference of opinion."
Police said Umashankar and Vinesh claimed that Suresh used to put a lot of pressure on them. The victim, Suresh, joined the company a year ago. He allegedly harassed and demanded that all employees clear the stock balance promptly.
Suresh also complained about Umashankar and Vinesh’s relaxed attitude and delay in clearing the balance to the company’s seniors, who took strict action against the duo.
