A Bengaluru man traced India’s map on GPS while walking through the city to mark India’s 77th Independence Day on August 15.
The man shared his “GPS art” on social media and revealed he was able to complete the trace in 13 hours and 25 minutes and had walked 73 kilometres. His step count was 83,774.
The social media post has been viewed more than 7,700 times since August 18. Viewers praised the man’s efforts and said his initiative was “inspiring.”
Vikas Ruparelia thanked his friends and family for their support, saying that he was doubtful if he could complete the long walk in a single day. “Well it's been a great adventure,” Ruparelia said in a post.

The Bengaluru man used the Strava app to track his long walk, NDTV reported.
