Bathinda shooting: Indian Army chief to brief Defence Minister Rajnath, say reports

The Indian Army released a statement following a shooting incident at the Bathinda military station in Punjab on 12 April 2023.

The Army said that 4 jawans of an artillery unit had succumbed to their gunshot wounds.

There were no other injuries, or damage to property. The Army and Punjab police are jointly investigating the incident.

Meanwhile, Indian Army chief General Manoj Pande was set to brief Defence Minister Rajnath Singh about the shooting, as per news agency ANI.
