Muslim women have been targeted again on an online platform similar to 'Sulli deals'. Barely 6 months after Github hosted a site which posted photos of Muslim women as 'Sulli deal of the day', another platform that goes by the name 'Bulli bai' is posting photographs of Muslim women.

The Wire journalist Ismat Ara was one of the people who called out the online platform for harassment. She posted a screenshot from the portal that had her image and tweeted that it was very sad that as a Muslim woman she has to start the new year with a sense of fear & disgust.

She tweeted later to inform that she has filed a complaint over the matter with the Cyber Cell of the Delhi Police.

In her complaint she wrote that she was shocked to find out a website/portal called “bullibai.github.io” which has since been deleted had a doctored picture of her in an improper, unacceptable and clearly lewd context

Other women also tweeted or posted screenshots from 'Bulli bai' with their photographs on it.

According to journalist Mohammed Zubair, 'Bulli bai' has pictures of at least 100 influential Indian Muslim women. He also tweeted that @wannabesigmaf was one of the Twitter handles involved in the harassment.

According to the Quint, the two handles allegedly involved in 'Bulli bai' are @Bullibai_ and @sage0x11.

The online harassment of women elicited strong condemnation from politicians, activities and common people.
