10-year-old Sahdev Dirdo, who shot to fame after a video of him singing 'Bachpan ka Pyaar' song went viral on the Internet, was on Tuesday injured in a bike accident.
Dirdo, who was riding pillion got badly hurt when the motorcycle skidded, police said.
The accident took place at around 6:30 pm in Shabri Nagar area in Chhattisgarh's Sukma and Dirdo, who was not wearing a helmet, suffered a grievous head injury. The rider sustained minor bruises, police officials said.
The boy was rushed to the district hospital and after preliminary treatment was shifted to Jagdalpur Medical College hospital.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has instructed district officials to provide the best medical aid to Dirdo, an official statement said.

Dirdo is a native of tribal-dominated and Naxal-hit Sukma district. He became an Internet sensation earlier this year after a video of him singing 'Bachpan ka Pyaar' in school uniform went viral.
Later, rapper Baadshah also made a music video with Dirdo, which also became popular.
