Amid a flurry of cases of alleged misbehaviour by unruly passengers on flights, the Delhi Commission for Women has proposed detailed guidelines to India's civil aviation regulator.

The DCW has recommended to the DGCA that highly intoxicated travellers be stopped from boarding the aircraft. The DCW also said that alcohol intake on flights should be limited, and CCTV cameras should be installed.

The women's body also suggested that staff be sensitised about sexual harassment.
