Jorhat (Assam), Oct 3 (PTI): Suspected miscreants from Nagaland allegedly set several houses on fire in Golaghat district of Assam early on Friday, according to a senior official. The incident occurred in Tengatal of Uriamghat, Sector B in Sarupathar, along the interstate boundary. "Villagers were asleep when suspected miscreants from Nagaland crossed the border and ignited numerous houses, causing significant property loss," the official stated.
