Guwahati, Oct 24 (PTI) - An operation led by the Government Railway Police (GRP) in Assam's Sribhumi district has resulted in the arrest of four individuals and the seizure of over 2 kg of heroin. Assam's Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, confirmed the development.

The operation, based on credible intelligence, was conducted at the Badarpur railway station, specifically at Platform No. 1 of the Badarpur Railway Junction. "No Room for Drugs in Assam!" stated Sarma in a post on X on Thursday evening.
