Actor Yami Gautam-starrer Article 370 has been banned in the Gulf countries. The exact reason behind the move was not disclosed but it could be due to the theme of the film which revolves around the abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir.

Notably, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, which has Gulf countries as members, had opposed the Indian government's 2019 move. Earlier this year, Hrithik Roshan’s 'Fighter' was also banned in the Gulf countries. Vivek Agnihotri's film 'The Kashmir Files' also encountered hurdles in the region. Even Salman Khan's 'Tiger 3' faced bans in Kuwait, Oman, and Qatar, over allegations of negative portrayal of Muslims.
