Anantnag anti-terror operation: missing soldier found dead, toll mounts to 4

An army soldier who was reportedly missing during a gunfight with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag has been found dead.

The operation against Lashkar e Toiba terrorists in the dense Kokernag forest entered its third day on September 15 and four security forces personnel including two army officers have laid their lives so far. 

Reports said during joint security operations, forces dropped grenades on suspected terrorist hideout locations using drones. 

Grenade launchers were also used by troops to target the group of terrorists hiding in the area.
