Union Home Minister Amit Shah is on a significant three-day visit to Bihar, which is gearing up for the assembly elections. On Friday, he is expected to address a rally in Saran district and attend an intellectuals' meeting in Patna, according to BJP leaders.

Shah convened a meeting with senior party leaders in Patna on Thursday night to assess preparations for the forthcoming assembly elections.

"The Home Minister will conduct a public meeting in Saran, endorsing NDA candidates for the Amnaur and Taraiya assembly constituencies. Following this, he will engage with intellectuals at Gyan Bhawan in Patna," stated a BJP leader, who wished to remain anonymous.

During his three-day visit to the election-focused state, Shah will hold organizational discussions with BJP leaders and meet leaders from alliance partners.

State BJP President Dilip Jaiswal welcomed Shah at Patna's Jay Prakash Narayan International Airport on Thursday evening.

Alongside his engagements, Shah is expected to join processions ahead of nomination paper filings by several NDA candidates.

"In the next four days, nomination paper filings will be completed for all 243 assembly seats. The Home Minister will issue instructions to party leaders to ensure smooth coordination among NDA partners throughout the elections," mentioned another BJP leader.

Numerous high-profile BJP figures, including chief ministers and union ministers, are anticipated to visit Bihar to elevate the morale of NDA candidates during the nomination process.

Friday marks the final day for filing nomination papers for the first phase of the elections, scheduled for November 6, while the second phase will see nominations concluded by October 20, ahead of the November 11 elections.

Looking forward, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also set to hold rallies in the state, as shared by the BJP leader.

The election results will be declared on November 14.
