New Delhi, September 1 (PTI): Union Home Minister Amit Shah engaged in discussions with Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Monday to evaluate the flood situation in the region, according to officials. During the telephonic discussions, the governor and chief minister apprised the home minister about the situation and the administrative efforts being undertaken for rescuing and providing relief to those affected.
Shah assured both leaders of comprehensive assistance to manage the floods, as confirmed by officials.
