Jammu, Sep 5 (PTI) Air Vice Marshal Vikas Sharma, the Air Officer Commanding for Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh, held discussions on civil-military cooperation and regional development with Ladakh's Lieutenant Governor, Kavinder Gupta, according to a defence spokesperson on Friday.

The meeting emphasized the importance of enhancing collaboration between the civil administration and the Indian Air Force (IAF) in the Ladakh region, focusing specifically on strategic preparedness, disaster management, infrastructure development, and improving the welfare of the local populace.

"AOC, along with Air Commodore Sanjay Prabhu, Air Officer Commanding of Air Force Station Leh, met with the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavinder Gupta, to deliberate on key issues concerning civil-military cooperation and regional development," the spokesperson stated.
