Agniveer dies by bullet in Srinagar, probe on: Indian Army

The Indian Army officials said that a paratrooper Agniveer, Jitendra Singh, died on May 10 due to a bullet injury.

Officials said that the Agniveer sustained the injury on May 9 in Srinagar where he was deployed as part of the 3 Para Special Forces battalion.

The army is carrying out an investigation to establish the exact cause of death of the soldier.

The last rites of Agniveer Jitendra Singh were performed in his village in Alwar district of Rajasthan.
