7 dead after mine collapses in Chhattisgarh, rescue operation on

About seven people dead and over a dozen villagers are reported to be trapped after a limestone mine collapsed in Chhattisgarh’s Malgaon on Friday.

Rescue operation is underway with police and SDRF personnel at the spot. At least two villagers have reportedly been rescued.

Multiple media reports quoting sources claimed that of the seven deceased six are women.
