Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh (UP), Jun 24 (PTI) - A 17-year-old girl from a shelter home in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, has been reported missing.

The superintendent of the facility has alleged that the girl was kidnapped.

According to the police, the superintendent lodged a missing person report at Janakpuri police station.

The report states that the girl went missing from the shelter home located in Pushpanjali Vihar on Monday.

The superintendent has requested that a case of kidnapping be registered against an unidentified person.

Superintendent of Police (Rural) Sagar Jain confirmed that the case has been registered.
