11-Year-Old Srishti Dies of Electrocution in Etah, UP

Etah (UP), Sep 2 (PTI) - A tragic incident unfolded in Etah district's Kotwali Dehat area when an 11-year-old girl, Srishti, lost her life due to electrocution from a water tap on Tuesday. According to the police, the incident occurred in Nagla Jagrup village as Srishti was filling water from a submersible pump's tap situated outside her residence. As she made contact with the tap, she suffered a fatal electric shock. Her family quickly transported her to a medical college, but unfortunately, the doctors there pronounced her dead. Kotwali Dehat Station House Officer Jagdish Kumar confirmed that the cause of death was electrocution. The family declined a post-mortem examination and chose to take her body home.
