With a single-day rise of 33,376 cases, India's Covid-19 tally climbed to nearly 3.32 crore on Saturday, while the death toll due to the viral disease shot up to over 4.42 lakh with 308 more people succumbing to it, the Union health ministry said.
Active cases constitute 1.18 per cent of total cases, while the national Covid-19 recovery rate stands 97.49 per cent per cent.
The daily positivity rate now stands at 2.10 per cent, which has been less than 3 per cent for the last 12 days.
Of the fresh Covid cases, Kerala has reported over 25,000 cases and 177 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 43,34,704 and the number of deaths to 22,303.

Further, over 73.05 crore vaccine doses have been administered since the nationwide vaccination drive began earlier this year.
