With a single-day rise of 27,254 cases, India's Covid tally climbed to nearly 3.32 crore on Monday, the new cases are 4.6% lower compared to Sunday.
The death toll due to the viral disease shot up to over 4.42 lakh with 219 more people succumbing to it, the Union health ministry said.
At 3,74,269, active cases constitute 1.13% of total cases, while the national Covid recovery rate stands at 97.54%.
The daily positivity rate, which has been less than 3 per cent for the last 14 days, now stands at 2.26% while the weekly positivity rate has been less than 3 per cent for the last 80 days.
Of the fresh Covid cases, Kerala has reported over 20,240 cases and 67 deaths in the last 24 hours.

Further, over 74.38 crore vaccine doses have been administered since the nationwide vaccination drive began earlier this year.
