India@75: PM Modi says govt will no longer be in the driving seat for business

PM Modi addressing the nation reiterated to India Inc that Govt will no longer be in the driving seat for businesses as the focus remains in making it easier to do business in India. 

Prime Minister stated, that "Historically govt was sitting in the driver seat. The time has changed now. Efforts have increased in the last 7 years to free the people from the web of unnecessary laws & procedures."

The govt has scrapped several unnecessary compliance laws have so far. In fact over 15,000 such 'unnecessary' requirements have already been removed by the govt stated PM Modi.
