The Indian Army has created a record of sorts as its pilots and technicians recovered a helicopter which was stuck in snow at an altitude of 18,000 feet at Siachen Glacier in Jammu and Kashmir, the Hindustan Times reported. An Advanced Light Helicopter had developed a snag in January this year and the recovery attempts were successful in June when army’s technicians and pilots managed to put new parts on the chopper and bring it back safely.
