ICC calls for Women's T20 in 2022 Commonwealth Games

The International Cricket Council has submitted a bid for the inclusion of Women's T20 in the Commonwealth Games in 2022 in Birmingham. Cricket made just one appearance in the CWG back in 1998 and since then has not been featured. ICC said the move was a part of a global strategy, to 'inspire and empower women around the world'.
