Ahead of the T20 World Cup, West Indies' veteran all-rounder Chris Gayle has publicly called out one of the legends of the game Curtly Ambrose.

During an interaction with a local radio station, Chris Gayle said that he highly respected Ambrose when he came into the West Indies team bit he has no respect for him now. Gayle was unhappy with the fact that Ambrose was spreading negativity about him in the press to gain attention.

Ambrose was extremely critical of Gayle's batting in recent times, stating that the 42-year-old has done very little in the last 18 months. Responding to that, Gayle added that the team needs past players to support their team and don't want negative energy going into the T20 World Cup.
