Congress leader P Chidambaram on Wednesday took potshots at PM Modi-led government following a significant drop in Covid vaccination on Tuesday just a day after record number of jabs was administered.  On Monday, the country had administered a record 88 lakh Covid-19 vaccines.

"Hoard on Sunday, vaccinate on Monday, and go back to limping on Tuesday’, Chidambaram wrote on Twitter as he laid out what he called the ‘secret behind the world 'record' of vaccinations on a 'single day’.

Taunting the Central government, he said the 'feat' will find a place in the 'Guinness book of records’ and added that a Nobel Prize for Medicine also might be awarded to the Modi government for the same.

He also made fun of the slogan ‘Modi Hai, Mumkin Hai’ and said it must be tweaked to read ‘Modi Hai, Miracle Hai’.
