Rohit Sharma may be a force to recon with in whites at home but the Hitman finally proved his class with the bat overseas on Saturday. Rohit tamed England in the 2nd innings of the 4th Test and smashed his 8th Test ton overall and first outside India. And he did that in style with a huge six.
The Hitman has been one of the very few Indian batters who have looked good on this England tour and scored 2 half-centuries before this ton. Rohit is in fact, the highest run scorer for India in the series so far. Moreover, the Mumbai-lad also crossed the 3000-run milestone in Tests in just 74 innings, Virat Kohli took 73. He also surpassed 11,000 international runs as an opener.
