Hit for Adani Group: Rajasthan High Court Cancels Allotment Of Public Utility Land

In a big hit to Adani Group's power plan, Rajasthan High Court has cancelled the land allotment to Adani Renewable Energy Park Rajasthan Ltd (AREPRL). Adani Group was allotted 3800 acres of land at the Nedan village near Pokhran in the Jaisalmer district in 2018 to set up a power plant.

The court gave these directions on a petition objecting to the allotment of public utility land to the solar power companies by the state government.Further the court has also ordered a review of land allotment in 3 other areas to the solar power companies.
