The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad arrested two persons, including a policeman, for their alleged involvement in businessman Mansukh Hiran's death case.

Both the accused, Vinayak Shinde, police personnel, and Naresh Dhare, a bookie, were called to the ATS headquarters for questioning and were sent to police custody till March 30.

Their arrest came the day the Ministry of Home Affairs handed over the probe into the Hiran death case to the National Investigation Agency.

Hiran was found dead in a creek near Mumbai on March 5 and was the owner of the SUV found with gelatin sticks parked outside Antilia, the residence of Mukesh Ambani.
