Her five-second video has taken the meme world by storm in both India and Pakistan. Basking in her viral fame, Pakistan's "Pawri" girl Donaneer Mobeen told Reuters that she had no idea that her "ye hamari pawri ho rahi hai" video would become so popular.
The video has struck such a chord that actors, politicians, and even police have used it in their social media posts. Expressing her happiness at fostering some rare friendly cross-border dialogue, Mobeen said that she is "grateful for all the love from across the border".
Since the video went viral, Mobeen said she has been inundated with acting and modelling offers, along with requests for product endorsements.
