Former India captain and BCCI supremo Sourav Ganguly turned 49 on Thursday as fans and cricketers across the world wished Dada. Most cricketers like VVS Laxman, Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag remembered stories from their playing days while fans recollected how Dada led the Indian team out of the match-fixing shadow and played three back-to-back ICC finals. Under his leadership, India also reached the 2003 World Cup final. Ganguly before retiring turned up for India 113 times in Test cricket and also played 311 ODIs. He was also a big name in the initial years of IPL and was the captain of the Kolkata Knight Riders.
