Happy hour for McDonald's in India, profit after 22 years

McDonald's registered their first profit in India after entering the market 22 years ago. The fast-food chain posted a net profit of 65.2 lakh rupees during the financial year 2017-2018 compared with a net loss of 305 crore rupees a year ago. The company had accumulated 421 crore rupees in losses since arriving in India in 1996. In its latest regulatory filing, McDonald's said it clocked an 8% growth this year.
