Lewis Hamilton equalled Michael Schumacher's record of 91 wins in Formula One as he won the Eifel Grand Prix in Germany on Sunday and took another stride towards a 7th championship title. Hamilton started behind his Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas at the front of the grid, but took the lead in lap 13. Hamilton took the victory by nearly 5 seconds from Red Bull's Max Verstappen, with Renault's Daniel Ricciardo third, the team's first podium finish since 2011. Hamilton now leads Bottas by 69 points with 6 races to go and winning another title would take him level with another of Schumacher's records. His son, Mick, presented Hamilton with a replica helmet at the end of the race.
