Guaido calls for revolt, Maduro says ‘we will win’

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro tweeted a defiant message as opposition leader Juan Guaido raised the pressure on his beleaguered regime. The President said he has met with regional defense bodies, which have expressed ‘total loyalty’. Maduro also called for ‘maximum popular mobilization’. Meanwhile, the European Union said it is 'closely monitoring the developments and support a political and peaceful solution to the crisis ultimately through free and fair elections’.
