In an effort to reveal the truth behind numbers, three young climate activists including Greta Thunberg, have come up with their own report. The group says that the 'EU is cheating with numbers and stealing our future.'

The 17-year-old shared extensive research on the topic and said 'the proposed 55%, 60% or even 65% carbon dioxide emission reduction targets for the EU by 2030 are nowhere near enough to be in line with the targets of the Paris Agreement.

Explaining why the European Union must lead the wave of change, Thunberg said the EU did not start reducing emissions 30 years ago when the debate began, they simply moved them abroad and left them out of the reports.

A top highlight from her expose reveals 'the proposed reductions do not include international aviation, shipping nor — again — consumption of goods manufactured outside the EU.'
