Greenland's ice is melting even in winter!

A team of Scottish scientists have confirmed that Greenland's ice sheets are melting even in winter. According to the Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS), the accelerated pace of melting is due to the heat from the ocean. Scientists from the United States, Belgium and the Netherlands state that the melting ice will contribute significantly to the global sea level rise. Continued global warming will make the melting process even faster.
