Google launches Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro smartphones with Tensor chip

Google has launched the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones.

Both phones are powered by the Tensor chipset, Google’s first custom chip in a phone. The Pixel 6 features a 6.4-inch FHD+ 90Hz display, while the Pixel 6 Pro gets a 6.7-inch QHD+ 120Hz screen.

Both smartphones feature a 50MP primary camera, and a 12MP ultra-wide shooter. The Pixel 6 features an 8MP front camera. The Pixel 6 Pro also gets a 48MP telephoto lens on the back, along with an 11.1MP front camera.

In the US, the Pixel 6 starts at $599 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, while the Pixel 6 Pro starts at $899 for the 12GB + 128GB variant.

Google has not announced any plans for an India launch yet.
