Google is celebrating the 100th birth anniversary of one of India's first contemporary women poets, Amrita Pritam, with a doodle. Some of her most iconic poems include 'Ajj Aakhaan Waris Shah Nu' and 'Sunehade' . She received the Padma Vibhushan award and also became the first woman to receive the Sahitya Akademi Award. The doodle, by artist Vrinda Zaveri, shows Pritam sitting infront of a bunch of black roses, that are symbolic of her autobiography, 'Kala Gulab'.
