The Supreme Court on Thursday refused to interfere with the Allahabad high court order which quashed the detention of Dr Kafeel Khan under the National Security Act. Chief Justice of India said that it seemed to be a "good order" by the high court and the court sees no reason to interfere with it. The UP govt had filed a Special Leave Petition in the top court against the September 1 order of the high court which quashed Dr Kafeel Khan's detention under the stringent law.
