Contrary to earlier reports that the beds in Tokyo's Games Village aren't sturdy enough, Irish gymnast Rhys McClenaghan debunked the myths with a video.
McClenaghan shot a video of himself bouncing on the cardboard bed to prove that they are strong enough.

This comes after a report in the New York Post suggested that the beds in the Games Village are made of cardboard to avoid intimacy among athletes.
The 'Anti-Sex Beds' theory went viral but the manufacturers had earlier claimed that the beds can withstand 200kgs which is good enough for 2 people.
Despite asking the athletes to "avoid unnecessary physical contact", the organisers are handing out almost 2 lakh condoms at the Games Village.
