A Class 11 student from Chennai who died by suicide last week has alleged sexual harassment in a note she left behind.

She titled the note ‘Stop Sexual Harassment’ and wrote about the mental trauma a sexual harassment victim goes through. She also appealed all parents to teach their sons how to respect girls.

She further wrote that no one can be trusted, neither your teachers nor your relatives. The only safe place is a mother's womb and the grave, the teen wrote in her suicide note.

The girl was found hanging in her room by her mother on Saturday.

A 21-year-old boy has been arrested and charged under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. According to the police he has confessed to harassing the minor girl
