At least 80 people have died and hundreds more are missing in Germany after the worst flooding in decades.
Record rainfall in western Europe has swelled the rivers causing devastating floods in the region.
Belgium has also reported at least 11 dead after massive flooding.
The German states of Rhineland-Palatinate and North Rhine-Westphalia were worst hit, but Belgium and the Netherlands are also badly affected, with further flooding in Luxembourg and Switzerland.
Heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms brought traffic to a halt, toppled trees and inundated basements in parts of Germany. Thousands of households are reported to be without power.
Rail connections were suspended in large parts of North-Rhine Westphalia, Germany's most populous state.
