General Motors company expanding autonomous car team

General Motors’ autonomous-car division, Cruise Automation is planning to double its team by the end of 2019. According to Reuters, General Motors wants to launch its own robo-taxi service by the end of the year and the team expansion strategy fits in nicely with that goal. GM is competing with likes of Waymo and Nissan to bring self-driving taxis to the masses.
