India’s largest car maker Maruti Suzuki is gearing up for a price hike from April 1.
In a statement to the exchanges the auto major cited increase in input costs as the main rationale for the price hike which they said will vary across the models .

Maruti stated “ it has become imperative for the company to pass on some impact of the above additional cost to customers through a price increase in April, 2021”.

Ironically the company had announced a series of discounts in March to buck up sales before the fiscal year closes .
