FSSAI to have a microbiological testing laboratory

A fully-equipped microbiological testing laboratory developed by Merck, a leading science and technology company, has been given to the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). Called the Center for Microbiological Analysis Training (C-MAT), it will provide skill training, implement new food testing technologies and help address quality requirements. The center will come up at FSSAI's National Food Laboratory in Ghaziabad.
