American fashion brand Fossil has launched its new Gen 5E line of smartwatches that are a little smaller and more affordable than the main Gen 5 models.
The Wear OS-powered wearable gets the same Snapdragon Wear 3100 chipset, 1GB RAM, a day’s battery’s life as well as similar sleep tracking, battery saving, and fitness features.
However, the affordable smartwatch doesn’t have the two customisable shortcut buttons and loses out on ‘integrated GPS’, while the onboard storage is cut in half to 4GB.
The Fossil Gen 5E series cost $249 and will be available in 42mm and 44mm models.
