Bayern Munich coach Hansi Flick wants to leave the defending German Bundesliga champions at the end of the season.

Flick, who has a contract with the club to 2023, told reporters that he would like to get out of his current contract at the end of the season. The statement came after Bayern’s 3-2 Bundesliga win over Wolfsburg as he also informed the club about this decision.

Interestingly. Flick has been linked with the German national team coaching position, which will be vacant after Joachim Loew steps down after this summer’s European Championship. Flick was previously Loew’s assistant from 2006 to 2014.
