Finance Ministry bats for e-vehicles for officials in Delhi

Finance Ministry has advised government departments in the capital to lease out e-vehicles for hire to officials. The move is in line with the government policy to phase out petrol and diesel cars and introduce 30 per cent e-vehicles fleet in India by 2030. However, North block did not specify the deadline with officials arguing that there are several hurdles in implementing it.
