While cricket will be soon returning back behind closed doors, and the cricketers will miss the loud cheering crowd, India's limited-overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma said that one never realises that they are playing for the Indian cricket team until they witness the support of the fans. While talking about the 2007 World T20 semi-final, where India defeated Australia, the opening batsman recalled how the fans celebrated and danced in the hotel. He went on to say that he couldn't believe his eyes as he had never seen anything like that before. Rohit said that one can always see fans at the stadium but after beating Australia in 2007, he realised that it is the fans' passion and love that keeps the team going.
