Facebook's cryptocurrency receives renewed scrutiny from Europe

According to reports, European regulators and central bankers have demanded more detail on Facebook's Project Libra cryptocurrency. Britain's top financial regulator said there wasn't enough information yet to understand the social media giant's cryptocurrency project, claiming the approval of Libra would play a vital role in public policy. Facebook announced last week that it plans to launch Libra within the first half of 2020.
