Euro 2020: Sterling's lone strike helps England beat Croatia

England registered a win in their opening game at the European Championship for the first time in 10 attempts as they beat Croatia 1-0 in London on Sunday evening.

After a goalless first half, Raheem Sterling finally broke the 57-minute deadlock with his first ever goal at a major tournament in 13th appearances. He has however, scored 13 goals in his last 17 outings for England.

The scoreline didn't change as Gareth Southgate's men collected all 3 points from their first game.
