A goal from Raheem Sterling was enough for the Three Lions to secure their place in the knockout stages of the 2020 European Championship as Group D winners by beating the Czech Republic on Tuesday at Wembley.
The 26-year-old scored the game's only goal in the 12th minute. However, the excitement of the first half of the game died off soon, as the teams thereafter performed sluggishly.
Meanwhile, the Czech Republic who started the day as the top team ended up in 3rd position in Group D.
